ABOUT US
Started in 2013, the UQ Refugee Tutoring Club (RTC) has been providing high-quality tutoring services to high-school aged students every year since. All of our members are UQ students, who we provide a Blue Card and tutor training, to ensure all of our tutors and students find our sessions enjoyable and accessible.

We are always looking for new members to tutor with us, and organisations to partner with. Sign up as a tutor, enquire about our tutoring program, or get in contact with our exec team today!
What we do
UQ RTC is a community of passionate students who are dedicated to the humanitarian mission of RTC and building life long friendships. As a new member, we will provide you with all the support and training you need to start tutoring. We run weekly tutoring sessions for several schools and other not-for-profits. To enrich your university experience we host a range of social events to build your personal and professional network.

To schools interested in our services, we offer free tutoring support for students of refugee backgrounds. Our program is run by volunteer university students who tutor a variety of subjects. All our tutors have blue cards (working with children check) and are trained to tutor a range of age groups and subjects.
